sleep escapes as i greet the season

By Jonas

again i come
proclaiming
blood celebrating the offbeat march of another season

7-up carbonated asphalt nose tickling with moonlight bubbles
i'm sitting
in the middle
of a county road to nowhere
well after the witching hour

and there are no walls
so there can be no script i'm missing
still though
so still
wrapped in the sensual causality of humanic electronic
ritual
i must keep my ears open for the tell-tale of
internal combustion
that will not come

the road goes nowhere and it's late
the road goes on still does not sate

what again was i speaking of

and now that i've stopped walking
the northern air sees me as a snack-cracker
nibbling at the corners of my comfort
my ass utterly fails to raise the temperature of the stubborn asphalt

and what again was i dressing up for

i am naked in this
i am spanked pink and rosey-posey red
and this god i've chosen shows me things that are only explained in this

i have doubts
i don't believe you have the capacity to release enough of yourself to know this
in my vanity i betray your potential
in order to hide from me and my god
the thought that my thoughts are muddled
though this certainly is no fabrication

i am here
it is cold
i am telling you about it now

i bear a child
no small feat considering i am the proud owner of a penis
my progeny is a mongrel dog
and the resemblance it bears me is like kissing
the dirty boots of aries

this kiss is war
this love is ours

this is the autumn that feels like winter couldn't wait
i shiver
and i know that on the walk back i'll sweat in all my layers of cloth
and axis points away from solar curtain
into vast the vast excess that keeps man from heaven

and that is this

The last few lines cut straight through this dream to the heart and the bone. I am not sure if the world is ready for genius such as yours, but I am grateful that I am here to witness it.
