The universe unfolds
Our tale to be told
Be it dark or deep
Mighty or meek
The words I place upon the page reflect the innocence long ago lost
Graphite and clay breaks upon the page, rhyme broken as I lose momentum
Remembrance of days once bright
Filled with light
No sorrows to behold as the world was ours to mold
They never told us the clay would harden
Our dreams soon to darken
Crumbing as the lies of life come to bear
Into the abyss I now, stare
