...Bonfire

...Bonfire

Bonfire once so strong
Burned without more fuel all too long
Now withering embers of a life once strong
Not long now, I scowl
Wondering where and when it went wrong
This now sour, song

I embrace the end as I scatter the embers
Fierce red now turning black
Knowing what I’ve done can never be taken back

Your pics always matches your pieces so perfectly. This pieces makes us think of being a kid and our grandfather would place sweet potatoes in the fireplace under the embers. Tight work
