Eight Line Melancholy Melody

By happilydepressed

I slept up and fell awake
This all must be fake

As an illicit illusion illuminates an illustration of illogical  imagery
Maybe I'm overdosing on reality

Leave me in the darkness and i'll be fine
When hours of thought weigh heavy on my mind

Instead of saving their lives I saved my own
So I'll sit in my corner all alone

This was seamlessly done and read like the coda of an acid casualty. Tight piece, brilliantly worked.
