...Glimmer

With breakneck speed I wrote the words you’ll never heed
Thought I could save a soul, though in the end I could no longer impede
A flutter of chaos and a steed of unapologetic passion ‘til the end
Weaved within your veins a life that nothing could ever mend
Passion wilts under your very stare
Chilling further, the coldest night air
Precepts burdened by the weight of an unrealized dream
Soul of sovereign thoughts aren’t what they once seemed
I danced with the light; the darkness too
They taught me there is no escape for me or you
Within the crevasses of our own stubborn lies, resides
Glimmers of thoughts that never subside…
How is it that our sorrow is endlessly deep, and yet of it we never truly speak?
---10 minute poem on something...--

The best comment I have ever received...Ashes of the cigarette fell--Burdened by the weight of words I tell.

absolutely beautiful. Sorrow and hope. Love and loss. So much weaved in this.
