...Tears of the Never

By SolApathy

Stars of the universe have said goodnight
As the cosmos is in plight
Pond draws of sun’s that never were
Unknowing the universe revolves around her
Cracks in the wall—Fissures in time pour into her mind
This little girl the anchor of all time
Doctor trapped in Pandorica prison
Locked away though he is the only one of true vision
Enemies consorted in fear –Believing he brought the end here
Never grasping the intricacies of universe he bound
Locked him away and now the end of time resounds
In a moment of triumph-- sonic screwdriver unbinds
Ties that held this force of nature locked in time
Vortex manipulators tear through
Helping the Doctor to imbue
Thoughts to Pond as she pulls through death
Seeing Rory for 2,000 years never did rest
Burning Tardis –Last light in a dying sky
Will the Doctor save us from endless night?
Remember child, the Doctor always lies
Saving the universe as he whispers goodbye’s
Big Bang 2.0 as the universe reflows
Doctor lost as cracks seal
A tear drops silently as she feels
The weight of the new universe, revealed
Something old--Something new
Something borrowed--Something blue
She brings back the impossible man
Dancing into the night --the Doctor’s plan

Wishing I'd seen more episodes; the curly headed fellow was my fave in the lead. For some reason tardis always made me chuckle (something close to retarded I suppose). Did Superman ever get it back I wonder??? Cheers Sol - this has it all - Dan

You managed to sum up that whole era. Much respect. This was cleverly done.
