...Winters' Veil...Warmth of an untold tale
By SolApathy
Crimson colors as windows begin to
shutter
Winter blues subdue
Cold breaks through
Long forgotten is our summer dream
Winter whispers a chilling tale
Leaves fall -- opening the veil
Stark views of blistering white
Still a beauty of natures’ might
Winter brings warmth with a cool mountain view
Cleanliness of whitewashed hues
Backdropped with sweet smells of pine tree purity
Could we live in this moment forever?
A contrast to Winter blues
~ if only you look to see what I’ve found~
Winter--the fuel for spring to rebound
Winter blues subdue
Cold breaks through
Long forgotten is our summer dream
Winter whispers a chilling tale
Leaves fall -- opening the veil
Stark views of blistering white
Still a beauty of natures’ might
Winter brings warmth with a cool mountain view
Cleanliness of whitewashed hues
Backdropped with sweet smells of pine tree purity
Could we live in this moment forever?
A contrast to Winter blues
~ if only you look to see what I’ve found~
Winter--the fuel for spring to rebound

it's 5:30AM here right now... after reading this I'm going back to bed and wrap myself in my lover's arms... for some reason, this made me think of her and her love for me... Beautiful! ~worm~

This makes me think of a line in the movie "Winter's Tale", and it is "have you ever loved someone so completely that they can't die". It kept going through my head as I read this beautiful write. On a personal note, I love Winter. It makes me feel so alive. Stunningly beautiful write, dearest. Rebs:).
