Neutron...Rage
By SolApathy
Patronizing my sins
Telling everyone of my dark life?
Do you think this would bring me to my end?
The cycle of internalized violence
Implosions denser than a neutron star
Weight of the universe collapsed upon my heart
Yet I burn
Intense
Into the night
Foreshadowing the darkness that will become known
The truth I will welcome in my home
Airing of the dark and despicable
I kept all your secrets within, burying them
In the hullabaloo, you thought no one would ever see into
I burn into
YOU
Today the intensity of my burning heart
sets the fire
Your true nature now into the light
You can’t hide in the darkest night
My right of passage
As my fire burns dim
With the last of my rage I exposed your façade
For all to see
Now I’m gone
And you will never be allowed to move

Ooh man that’s intense, I love it. Some people just feel more, and are even able to take more. A great one to find on the front page after being away for a while!

Very relateable piece. I really like how it kept building and building as it went along. Good one, Sol. - 10:43

I believe a black hole is capable of sucking in all available light within its reach; thus the blackness. Those little photons of light energy just don't stand a chance. Intriguing poem - burn on! Cheers SA - Dan

Hullabaloo is a real Southern saying, and I love seeing it used in poetry. Great job once again, dearest! Reb:).
