In the twilight of a symphony
Far beneath your darkest memory
Lost in the delusions of a happiness that isn’t real
Smiling to conceal
Truth beyond words
The shallow never see the hurt deep behind your eyes
Too enamored by your eloquent
Disguise
The closest believe their own lies
Never knowing the mending you need
Behind haunted eyes
Everything’s fine
Take a pill and move down the line
Smile, and it’ll be just fine
(We all know)
That’s the solution
Get back with the flow of the world
Never believing you aren’t strong
They found out too late you were at your
…End
