some days are better than others
By Adagios
Blessed
So far beyond any possible
fable
As weighless oceans of truth
Crashing on beleaguered shores
Bloody with the storms of “why” and
“How could you let her go”
These unfamiliar oceans are of
Sound
Reverberating all with the song
...Of forgiveness

I can really relate to this, feeling so undeserving, and not knowing what to do when grace and love are finally given. I have a mix of good days and bad days, and I always hope for brighter times ahead. Short, but just as powerful. Reb:).

I can't help but relate to this one and my failed first marriage; after 8 years. High school sweethearts, a mismatched "perfect couple", but some things can't be forgiven and time does not heal all wounds. Cheers A. for this gem - Dan (we go on / it gets better)

Easy to read, harder to comprehend. There's subtlety to the sadness and, I think, to the message. The center stanza gives the poem some much appreciated meat. Structure is great, word choice is great. Just another all around great poem, Adagios.
