...Storms of the soul

By SolApathy

We aren’t that far apart
Always in my heart
Though I’ve moved on
Gone
 Beyond the grave
Don’t feel you couldn’t save

From myself and I
From this world
In which all I did was

From the day I was born
Forlorn & out of control
Too deep for this world
My soul
Lost in an existence I couldn’t strive
Overload of feelings inside
Psychiatrists and drugs
Dulling my humanity until it was

…Numb
I ran to the sink
Dumping the pills That brought me to the brink
 being unable to think
Alone in my thoughts you didn’t know
I dumped the pills and let
…Go

As I'm fond to say, but feel it's worth repeating here SA: troubled souls are a reason to rejoice (in an odd way) - not everybody has one my friend. Too bad the people who mean the most to us will always have that lingering doubt, that we have placed there, but we go on. Cheers darkly! - Dan
