inertia
By Jonas
we change faces
and the places we've been
feel the bending
pressures of dialating iris and lost
acceptance of things that control has left
have been and gone
under
like monoxide tied blood
i've never in my life been doing
much more than staring at the sea
as the waves sud the salt of the earth

I had to read this about 10 times before I could comment on it. The last 4 lines just left me in awe of you. This poem has roots that extend into the very nature and fabric of our existence.
