take as directed

By Adagios

Here in the harvest moon

harvested of air

a time and still a tune

are published in my stare

the vacancy, presumably

which you have hallowed there

among the sacred halls

here among the chosen fair

the learned and devine

resigned I do not care

title and land are mine

Facade laden with dispair

funny now to be

clinical rationer

Of truths I've never mastered

and hopes dissolved to air

hilarity, they listen

to striking calm repose

withed as a vine,

envenomed as thorn's rose

silent shifting moments

are what is left to me

vodvillian reconouter

and stark sterility

"i prescribe one part regret

three parts remembered shame

take this in the evening"

Capsule called: I am to blame

This is a real story. My last surviving brother has schizophrenia from the death of our oldest brother. He's had signs leading up to it but after his death it really set him off. He's had some pretty wild episodes & needs medication in order to stay balanced or else he starts hallucinating and going into batshit survival mode. He finally found a psychiatrist he could talk with that he actually liked. Well in this last year, I guess the doctor couldn't take hearing people's problems anymore & blew his own brains out in his office. That further helped to mess with my brother. It's ironic & I actually find it poetically hilarious & beautiful in a very macabre way. Not that I don't feel for his unfortunate situation, but you have to admit that's pretty nutty. This reminded me of that, thanks for this & if you're still reading; thanks for reading, lol.

Lol, Yes, it is very funny in a macabre way. Though in truth a high percentage of clinicians enter the field seeking answers. I didn’t, the majorly of trauma I’ve incurred occurred while is was intolerable of therapist already. I appreciate the visit and the great story, I am sorry for the effect it has wrought on your family. Thk you my friend.

One as hateful as the other. This was like a woven spell, webs and other tangled things. Your foo-foo fluff pieces... they are nothing compared to writes from this depth. I am enamored.

I think I get your meaning, though it isn’t hateful, unless it’s self hatred, this is about the hypocracy of being a mental health practitioner who cannot master his own lessons, and the other party is dead, the self loathing originates with that truth. Still I love your take, and feedback. Thks
