Nihilism
By drasticdaydreams
I seem to be caught
As a fish
Somewhere between logic and morale, as it seems the two cannot fit together.
But I cannot swim upstream
Due to my lack of faith
And love of the descent.
So as it seems
My soul is as the ocean...
Polluted.
And uncaring.

I love the analogies used in this write. Not only that, but it expresses so much in only a few lines.

Great work, very potent and conveys the existential struggle perfectly

This was a punch. You convey so in these few lines. The last 3 lines... The was good.

Captivating in its concept, I found this work to be not only analytical but with a profound understanding of one of the most complex philosophical forms of reason. Very well done.

"Nihilism is best done by professionals" ~Iggy Pop. I liked this write, the intelligence of it, the grit under my eyes of it. I'm familiar with it, I can relate. Thank you for sharing it.
