Silly Rabbit

By Clydes_Bonnie

A pretty lady
in heels and a hemi
he told me it was love
a lit smoke
bass a'blarin
and as I held my middle finger up
he told me it was love
thick liner
golden skulls
and a leather jacket
he told me it was love
silly rabbit
I'm quite the habit
they always say that it is love

you will never be..

She has got this way
unintentionally
a cemetary
the way the dead will flock to her
but these moths can only ever see
the manufactured light
she never was alive
just a production of ease
for the blind
an inevitable burn out

you will never be anything..

She has got this way
of mystery
a closed book locked in the attic
a dark cloud in a blue sky
a pill poppin alcholic at 13
shes got the passion
the danger and the borderline mind
You will never be anything more than.....
I will light the way for you my dear
I will soothe you like a drug
You may rest you head against my shoulder
Just promise me that
You will never say that it is love
You will never be anything more than a poem

  • A former member wrote: Ouch! Straight up. Love comes easy for some. Others find it impossible. There is something dangerous in the personality of this piece, mysterious but honest & biting. There is grit here. Appreciated muchly, Clydes.
