For Orion
By Dommi
If there is a heaven
then it fell into my arms
Softly breathing, ever content
next to the beating of my heart
If there is a god
I can see him in your eyes
looking back, forgiving me
for every misdeed in my life
If there is true love
it is embodied in your grasp
You hold my hand just like your father
with a bond that is made to last
If ever there was hope
A desire to be more
It's a spark inside the very depths
of a brand new mother's core
If there is real happiness
like in tales that I've been told
then it is there in my son's smile
the purest form that I'll behold

Seems so gently crafted, each word a raindrop to capture this...so lovely. :)

If I am getting the true meaning of this, then congratulations. Your ability to put out such emotion in so few words is amazing! The gift of life is truly special!
