Black-blooded
By Deathkitten
Is it me there
in your pretty little rhyparography?
Seems you had a few misstrokes
while constructing my sordidness
Impress us with your erudition
Your blind ambitions
Your self-conditioned
moral mended
knowledge blending
form
can't create
nor imitate
anything of the scorned
I'm black-blooded
and so you've been warned
but your high-class ignorance
keeps you on your toes
while i'm flat-footed
and surrounded by your friendly foes
The crows
And you...
just keep flipping pages
scrolling for ages
searching for traces
and answers
in which
you cannot learn

Just catching up today and this was epic! I had to look up that "rhyparography" word - a new one for me yet so meaningful in context. Much enjoyed the intellectual vitriol, thanks Jess!

I think Shakespeare coined the word hot/cold-blooded, so I guess you can take this credit for black blooded. The crows line made me think of Game of Thrones and the whole work is incredibly scornful but still a joy to read. Thanks Kitten.

Read a lot of books in my life, but I whole-heartedly agree that in real life what they teach is less than useless, simply read for personal enjoyment. I'll rely on instinct and experience always.

Very good, and that's the point I was making. Reading helps enhance the mind, but it's not the answer for all nor any handbook/guidleline for real life. Thanks

Very many, i'm not totally bashing bookworms here, but there are some things...books just cannot teach us. Flex away ;)
