DAMASK ROSE

By M Morgan

DAMASK ROSE

your thighs are absurdly
Nervous
insinuating my Rest

Your lap is Insidiously
Serene
my late-night

margin of my poetry

but what really glows
on your track

When You arise

Is

some scent of damask rose
Disloyal

the end of all my poetry

...'disloyal' leads me to believe that the fragrance may be the scent of another woman. unfaithful love is a bane to tender poetry, but feeds the songs of heartbreak...

Ah! Poet, you are great. Yes, is a Poet writing for your woman beloved . Divert your poetry and your heart. Thanks. In poetry you can be anyone and see the both sides at once.
