Inhibited

A crack of light bleeds through

Blue skies pixelate and shake

My legacy reveals a self-deception,

A lifetime’s worth of hate

Shivering, I long for a colossal voice

To bestow wisdom to my essence

Hopelessness sets in,

As my ears shatter in the silence

The wretched ones unashamed

Seemed always to remain

Though without transcendence,

I stayed hollow just the same

Who am I to blame?
