Mind
By FearlessDragon
Lie in wake
Statue eyes
Frozen in melancholy
Bleeding
heart
Thumping so loudly
Cold sweat
Dripping
Down
my cheek
Shadows dance for me
Whispering
Enchanting
things
Moonlight weeping
Its visage
Haunting
Starlight burning
So far away
I wish I could join them
Whistling wind
Singing my tune
To deafened ears
All nature abandoned...
ENTER THE MIND...
... This is where we lose ourselves

I love the idea that the mind is not natural, not of nature. Considering as humans we have this great aptitude of being able to think outside of survival, we are not part of the Earth's natural food chain, so the thing that separates us must be 'unnatural' - XXOO

It's like you are walking through the corridors of natures' back stage, then stepping through the the curtains, into your mind, where your performance will begin. ( gosh don't I go on) x
