for the one i love

By SourInnocence

there is a bitter sweetness beneath every embrace.
as though it may be our last.
everytime our bodies lock together,
i sreamed coaxing to myself to tell him.
to show him
how i truly feel.
but i know better
deep down.
if i'd tell him, let him hear the words come from my soul
he would hurt, for me, because he doesn;t feel the same.
so my heart races and i push my lips shut.
and enjoy the very smell of him.

hmm what to say...i like this and it hits me for some reason. It may be that i sometimes fear the same thing, that my love doesn't feel the same.
