To the Other

By asailorsangel

In my spirit resides a
Thought of you
My soul loves you
In ways I could never tell
You

An endearment towards you
That will always be distant
causing
A lonely crevice

You would be startled
To know the truth inside
How my eyes hold
Captive in my heart
The sensation of your
Presence

And you look in wonder
But know nothing
Of what hides under the
Layers of deception I
Tell myself to get
By

Set free for a instant
In a space that filled
A universal second
Which is now diminished
Back into the void

Love is lost in the
He and she but this
One is for you
Do you know who
You
Are?

Love
me
