Prison of Beauty

By rosemaiden

Beautiful Oblivion swirling around me
Touch the moon beamingĀ upon on me

A face here
A face there

Confusion controls me

I hurt

I bleed

Nothing I do I succeed

But love is mine
Being his I thrive

But the devil doth taunt
To say him I don't want

And sends another
So that I should wander

But nothing will bleed my soul of him
He is my blessing

My curse....

For him I will always thirst....

I feel so weak....

For I sing a lovesick battle cry
IĀ  must confess this before I die............

Love lost and love regained, never shall the two meet. I loved the last two lines, really beautiful. Brava!!
