the ceiling

By the broken

when i gaze upon my blackend ceiling
all i see is the symbol of my soul
a ceiling shaped just like a skull

the skull shaped ceiling
the ceiling over my broken soul
sings a tune to these bloody tears

the drums are all my fears
the bass is all the wasted years
the guitar is my broken heart
the lyrics are the tears you find in this art

the ceiling
the symbol to my broken soul
so small
so dark
keeps me close to the pain i'll always know
