Vagabond

Vagabond
Down a long and winding road he walks alone forever-
No place for him to call a home, he can not rest, no, never-
Always walking on across a barren, beaten path-
He who has never known a family, only knowing death-
No trail left behind him, walking ‘cross the endless plains-
Bound unto the road he walks where nothing more remains-
Nomad of the barren lands, his trails blazed in darkness-
Battered, beaten, broken, scarred, desensitized and heartless-
Feels no sorrow, knows no love, kept alive by age-old wrath-
Agony and misery fill him up with every breath-
Imprisoned by the Kings of old, the desolate, enslaved-
He walks and never stops, he keeps on walking to his grave-

Author's Note:
Short, but I think two stanzas is all I can get out of this one, although the charcter is very likely to appear in the future, either in another poem, lyrics, or a short story.Comments on "Vagabond"

The true image of loneliness, a wanderer walking a seemingly endless path with only his shadow for company. Reminds me a lot of one of my works, except mine's not as metal. Write on.
