...Ashes of Dissolution

By SolApathy

Rhythm of our beat withheld
My soul felled
Cataclysm of distrust
Watched in horror as we rust
Feelings of no meaning as love is receding
Can’t stop the bleeding
Solitary tune of a sullen wound
 I feel our passion swoon
Last breath of desperate emotion
Ragged reminder - tumultuous commotion
Fire of blistering magnesium violence
Followed only by the ashes of our loves’ silence

That being said, even your shorter writes are undeniable in their strength and beauty. Good work as always, dearest. Rebs:).

Those last 2 lines make this whole thing worth the read. I swear, your author's notes are always another layer.

"Solitary tune of a sullen wound" - yeah baby! Guessing that magnesium is like phosphorous and cannot be extinguished by water. Also, requires a special kind of welding to fuse (heliarc?). Nylon will stretch too - cheers my friend! - Dan
