  • "Some people truly believe you can just "snap out of it". Irks me to no end. There are things that can help, medication, finding love, doing things you like, not doing things that bring you down...it all helps...sometimes even counseling, if it's available and you can afford it...but I doubt you wrote that to be given a way to fix it, as us men are wired to trry to help by finding a solution. Women seem to be wired to commiserate...Venus and Mars... I AM sorry you feel the way you do...if there is anything I can do to help, just ask. You summed it up beautifully and succinctly, Beth."

  • "The innocent and carefree days of youth...I'd love to have them back to squander once more...especially now, in the face of the knowledge of my own mortality. Thank you, Beth, for saying what we all long for so eloquently..."

  • ""If you would have known than what you know now" can't remember who said that..but I remember the rush of growing and thinking how much better it would be if I were only older..now sometimes its just like a giant joke..Its so easy to miss the days when life was carefree and swinging on swings and coloring were the best things ever. This was beautiful beth..That 1st line says it all"

  • "It's not easy to look back over the wastelands of youth and try to find some sense in them. I know I can't but your poem struck the nerve and forced recollections. A work very well done."

  • "I am not only curious about much of your writing themes but why you are so sporatic in writing. Are your moods or inspirations coming with long pauses? I ask only because there is a particular haunting quality about your work that begs to be examined. I enjoyed this work but felt the disillusionment and hollow sense of pain flowing through the pen. Nonetheless, an excellent work."

  • "this falls under the category of loamentation poetry that is always difficult to write but is always flavored with the sense of gripping realities. I hope this was from imagination but if not, I honor your valor and praise the quality of your pen."

  • "I like the internal rhyme pattern and enjambment in this one. The imagery is strong at jarring as it kicks off and functions to me like a finger snap so that you have me paying attention to your observations that follow. Great job! Ciao, T/S"

  • "Most people are as happy as they make up their minds to be. That's simply how it is and one can also make up their mind to be depressed. We are what we make of ourselves and we can't blame others or life. We are all we have except in your case because you should find happiness in your talent. It's there and this work proves it."

  • "I can't tell you it will get better, because I do not know. No one is happy all the time, just like no one is depressed all the time..there are always fleeting moments in between the haze. Hold onto those moments, they make the rest worthwhile."

  • "Because that's all you can articulate when your brain is going through spouts of emotional change. I particularly liked your ending, reveals your true emotional state that you're struggling with at this currant time, with no sugarcoating. I want nothing more than to hold you snuggly in my arms. -with... .hugs, puffy pillows and warm chocolate chip cookies."

  • "**Wraps Beth in to a giant hug** :D It's good to have feeling it sets you apart from the rest of the programmed people who spend more time numbing themselves than facing reality..It makes you human..it also allows us here the chance to read your out pour of beautifully worded emotion..its like a domino effect you feel..I read you I feel..and so on and so on for all the other readers ..well except for the the brainlessly numbed ones but f**k um ..keep the poetry flowing pretty lady ..always look forward to something new of yours."
