  • "Video games are just one facet of the one-eyed monster that is controlling younger people especially. Cell phones, ipods. ereaders, lap tops, PC monitors, text messaging, Facebook, MySpace, gamers, etc. Get lost in a world of electronic amusement when there are no jobs, still at home with mon and dad, and every night is Saturday night - get drunk, get stoned, get trashed. Not teaching longhand script, losing personal communication skills, become withdrawn, depressed, and selfish. Call me a dinosaur... We all reap the consequences."

  • "...the way you set up this poem, putting the truth over there out of reach...& so it is in life."

  • "Sounds like you may be the man in the middle, so near and yet so far maybe. This was a beautiful characterization of slowly being tortured by something unattainable, or feared perhaps. Cheers and thanks PD."

  • "I don't know.. but the title is a "whale" and this story is about the ever so large whale, this biggest of mammals, who even with it's size is still dwarfed by the immense size of the ocean. I am just guessing this is about that."
