Together tonight we lie
like a stone tossed out to sea
and I
can't help but wonder why
must you pick me
Love birds in a nest
we fly and twist and soar
envied by all the rest
as we dance
above the shore
Beauty as a monster
that sing a song of death
He can't believe he lost her
to the world he once had dread
I
speak these words to be known
to those of which are owned.
