  • "lmao...ouch, there's a sting in the tail and it only took lines to get there! Great juxtaposition between each line...sucker punched with false sincerity, it's a common tie among human lore...brilliance in its succinct slap...ouch again!"

Anywhere - minor quibbles, I enjoyed the narrative, sceptical tone - welcome to DP...and thanx for your early support - all the best, Col. :D"

  • "Brilliant. 'of what was not...' I know the feeling of 'stillborn love'. At least you've still got your words! "

  • "There's something to be said about this despondent self torture. Someone once told me we only escape the fire to run back to the ladder. A vicious cycle that we run so often that making any other decision is just too difficult to handle, too much of a change, even if that change is for the better, because when we make that change, that's when we truly realize we are alone. Without what lost physically, and now, gone emotionally. Where do we go next? I hope you make it to your beautiful poem someday."

  • "a love full of hate... yet the hate never comes until the ends, or nears it. unfortunately sometimes it lingers. so in many ways, it is a hate full of love. well written."

Unfortunately though, this guy (or girl) will eat some grass, puke up the pieces they couldn't digest, and move on their merry. Son of a B, I wish it didnt work that way."

I guess everyone goes through this, although for some reason, it feels like only we are the ones that own sorrow, depression, loss, etc., like some sort of monopoly on pain. And that makes the feeling that much more lonely, and everyone else seem that much more confusing."

  • "lost love. i felt anxious reading such sorrow and longing.(hiding on black pages, searching for your shadow). I think these words are possibly the most beautiful words i have heard. i loved it and hated it at the same time. i loved the dream like state i felt but hated how much it made my heart ache. truly impressed :-) "
