streams of unconsciousness

By zanewill

visionary betrayal
gaining popularity amidst thin gossomer strands
of abject humanity & a profane disregard for the
continuance of the planet
the slaughter is indiscriminate
the deception so blatant as to
warrant hilarity & senceless acts of murder
the plumage of peril
scratches out of time as dried
leaves swirl over rough tombstones
in the crisp vernal sunshine of the equinox
silently dreaming in their spinning
stark surrealistic schemes aimed at survival
dancing among freshly broken feathers
scattering vanity & rejection
silken caresses linger as
deaths rot unable to escape the breath
cavernous depths reverberating
perfection ever elusive
the sudden silence of the slain bystanders
followed by screeching reaching
towards the heavens
souls set free eclipsing mortality
simple transcendent flight hesitant
before the initial ascent speaking in
silver still-born tongues skinned in
significance & hearts of forgetfulness
reflections of stark exposed terror
reverberate chaotically whispering
faint groans of acceptance
putrid essence lingers
as the stench of a necrotic neuroblastoma
piercing the flesh from the inside-
out oozing salty sharp pointy shards
of crystallized despair & hopelesness
cracking worn & tattered visage
leaving a trail towards the eminent
radioactive refuse permeating the toxic
mist below
dusty leather boots

Wow, I love. . . all the words in here, the verbosity of it and the obscure meaning. Interesting ending. . .
