sick rhyming

By zanewill

some say we only choose
to use
a part of our brain
it may sound contrite
to recite
words woven on the wings
of faerie sprites
odes to fellows long ago
just to show enough to bestow
legends quid pro quo
this is my brain trip
my twisted pirate ship
break out the whips & chains
puncture the cephalic vein
here you will refrain
from any gain
at my expence
under the guise of pretense
inside my cranium
you can not plant
your own geranuim
not will i grant
your right to rant
or complain
your girl does too much cocaine
this is my trip
i don't need your lip
your praise
your disdain
in here it's my way
that is the way it will stay
my line of defense
is not at your expense
this is my home
my twisted cranial dome
that part of my brain
that contains
my own bane
