Imaginary

By wandering druid

Imaginary
In your head
Only what you
think
Just see what
you want to see
Even if it's not
really there

Imaginary
Just your mind
Playing tricks on
you
Unable to differentiate
between whim
and reality

Imaginary
Created from
What you expect
to encounter in
your life
Or what you wish
to be and feel

Imaginary
too often confused
with this reality
You've tumbled down
a rabbit hole
Open your eyes to find
That what you're used to
Isn't here

Imaginary
who you see
everyday
Sitting far away
Two seats behind you
Writing sad words
as would be poetry

Imaginary
Me

The only thing seperating imaginary fro concrete is the mind and heart's urge for it to be reality. Very moving.
