Beauty in The Beast
By happilydepressed
Hateful fear is such an ugly disease
But beauty lies deep inside the beast
Beauty you can’t see
It’s in the last place you think it would be
The beast looks deep into your soul with eyes so dull
It consumes your thoughts and fears whole
Can’t you see, are you blind
The beauty isn’t hard to find
Beauty they say is in the eyes of those who behold
But are there any brave or bold
Is there any who dare
To look back into the beast’s stare
The beast’s eyes so black so dull
Yet so painfully beautiful
Beauty lies within it’s eyes
Kill the beast and the beauty dies
And all that’s left
Is the lingering smell of death
And the ugly face of decay
Watch as the beauty slowly withers away
Like dust in the wind
Life has such a beautiful beginning and such an ugly end
