Unreal Addiction

In this maze of life I was hopelessly lost
And then somehow our paths crossed.
In a short time you got inside my heart of stone
Bringing happiness I have never known.
When I have a problem you always have an open ear.
Even more important... You listen, as well as hear.
You picked me up when I was down
And turned my world completely around.
You give me respect and support that I never had.
Making me feel that, on my own, I can stand.
You found your way into my head,
And brought back to life a part of me I thought was dead.
Because of you I can honestly say,
I look forward to each and every new day.
It sounds so surreal it could be a story of fiction,
But I know it's real and still it's become my unreal addiction.
Though I can't explain this, it makes perfect sense...
It only takes one person to make a world of difference.
