.absent.

By swing_the_hammer

I have been but worlds away
I go there every single day
and over the hill, by and by
I have seen the mourning sky
-first it fell, and then it cried-

in shades of rain I found a home
where I am always and never alone
dressed in leaves of green and gold
I will love you sevenfold
I sleep inside the morning dew
and often there I dream of you...

silver linings like closed eyes
I'll sing the sweetest lullabies
the twilight stars will be my gown
we all fall down, we all fall down
I hid my heart inside a cloud
and now it's always pouring out...

I have been but worlds away
lost within the yesterday
and over the hills, where shadows lean
the dawn is further than it seems
and tomorrow is a distant dream...

the writing of this is beautiful, it flows like music, there is a melody to be enjoyed before even reading the words, seriously impressive
