My Minds' Own Jail
By darkness_descends
Trapped in my minds' own jail,
A life sentence with no parole and no bail.
In a cell filled with confusion and pain,
All topped off with delusions and disdain.
I am my only cell mate,
Shackled and tortured by hate.
Thinking in my solitude,
Has corroded my mind and my attitude.
Viewing my world with cynicism,
I have adopted solipsisim.
No god could possibly exist,
In a world such as this.
Everyday I try to escape,
But this has become my fate.
Still I try everyday and miserably fail,
Never resigning to the sentence of...
MY MINDS OWN JAIL!
