san francisco
By Jonas
rolling again into that
sly season
that back then
may as well have
been my first taste of rain
reticient sense
of mephitic passions
and morpheus courting
yearning to feel the refreshing
present
drench of
devil departed
diamond rain running
down
like liquid eyeliner to
a woman's tender tears
she
in the realization of some
great personal truth
one room
clear out old cupboards
and play sepia slides of
child smiles on the back
of my brain
prepetual beginnings
reflect an increasing suspicion
that things might just be
ok
cognition and imagination
come closer
in earthworm sidewalk smell
volume
of sly season rain
on my rooftop
i am compelled to discard
wry reasons
that maintain god creator in
drought season

again... to have touched you, looked into your eyes and KNOWN you deeply... this poetry makes so much more sense... and yet i am delighted knowing that parts of you will always be an enigma.

this is a nice picture of a feeling a place gives, rather than just the place...Ferlinghetti's in SanFran, isn't he: you should look him up, he loves to publish stuff like this....

Great poem. As liquid_Emotion said, great imagery. It put a vivid mental picture in my head. Keep up the good work.
