Eternal Aphrodisia (come away with me)

By Mistress Morbid

Take my hand
and join me
in misery's forgotten

spoil with me our youth
on candy coated lies
and fairy tale truths

a clock with bent hands
and crooked numbers
tells us the season we are in

watch, with a tractor lust
as I push these obstructions
out of the way

take my hand, once more
feel what it is like
to be unrestricted

****************************

I lead you through
a stone arch covered
in a creeping ivory

a road laid before us
lined with tulips and daisies
shades never seen before

every where we looked
the land seemed
adorned with willow trees

a spot of sunshine or two
made its way
through the trees

we were greeted with
the sounds of nature
effervescent and serene

the road leads us to
fortification ten fold
glimmering before us

magnificent and bright
vintage abode of the finest
come on, lets throw our troubles behind us

bask in the fountain of youth
wash all our misfortunes away
will you be my forever?
