Disengadged....{sleep in rust}

By A Velvet Tongue

Tarred and feathered
painted in rot
dusty and fetid
Your Iron Maiden sleeps in rust

Anarchists in chains
gather cumbersome breaths
to welcome the inquisition
within your glorified shrine

Racks line these walls
laced in blue bloods
cacophonies' crescendo in pain
wounds seep in wilted angst

Borrow now thy tyrant's fist
cover ye in royal stench
paupers and princes naked forms
sleep wistfully aside invoked death

disengadge ....
as you move through me
I welcome the flood
as I sail through ascension

I only wave
as you bury me
screaming again
as your vision stains

who are thy neighbors
........brought ashore from ships afloat
marred sails for glory bind
carrying to another port

Destruction
she is your redemptive rite
society's plea for reprieve
callousness yet, on your finger sways

nonchalant,
your cold disregard
disengadges
disenchants
disrupts

until the inquisition
is but a mere ball
your masquerade
feathers and pearls

.......over at the stroke of twelve

one second after
is where silence
f
a
l
l
s

the weak
grovel at your feet
The strong
dance until dawn

a goddess
garbed in demise
smiles in brilliance
the inevitable
now at hand...

she softly speaks
her words, paint your lobes
in lust...

"May I have this dance"?
