True emptiness
By Methos
Listen closely to the crowded nothingness
It is there we find comfort in each others lies
Unreal faces stare at each other in bliss denial
Never listening yet always speaking
Inspiring wisdom in empty advice
Conversations of sweet gossip
Gaudy clothing; too loose or too tight
Each and all trying for the approval of the whole
The meaning of this is simple
Desire of acceptance
leads
to true emptiness

So paradoxically inspiring. Acceptance to emptiness, wisdom in ignorace. Excellent theme and I couldn't think of a better way to portray it. Great write.

"Desire of acceptance leads to true emptiness", the truth here is like a slap in the face. Wanting to be part of the in crowd, but not being your true self, hiding who you are just so you can have friends that in truth don't even know the real you.
