...Crimson Rain

By SolApathy

Headed to hell for what I’ve done
Knew my fate before I cocked the gun
Rage became my loved one
Carry me through the hellscape of crimson rain
My blades bloodied in pain
I slaughtered everyone
A house of ill-repair
Darkened by the deeds of those within
I came to relieve them of their sins
Satan’s laughter echoed as I did the deed
As I finished I climbed upon my faithful steed
Off into the sunset as a house burns on the hill
Cleansing the flesh of those, killed
Hardness of my soul, sealed
Sun passing beyond the boundaries of day
Slipping into the night I haven’t much to say
I reload my vengeance and wait again for the sun
Looking to her worn picture, condemning what I’ve become
I await hell as they took my only one

This would make a great novel or movie, it's laid out that good. Tight work Lady

Vengeance is always a testament to who we are once we are faced with it. Just depends on how we handle it. Excellent piece.
