...Innocence of a long forgotten hue

Nothing left of the innocence I desired
Every day now, tired
Worn of a dream ripped at the seams
Loneliness of stars in the sky, no longer beam
Yet in the greyscale darkness you can see
The scars that color me
Hues of forgotten grey
Remind me of the regrets I felt until today…
