Eons of Erosion
By happilydepressed
Morbid memories run constantly through my mind
My happiness lost and my smile long left behind
My pain is deeper than the puddles from the tears I cry
And is harder to hide than the reasons why
My sorrows just keep coming
As my nightmares keep becoming
As real
Real as the pain and the feelings i feel
You are my answer
To what ails me, you are my cure
I needed you before
And now i need you more
Relieve my of my mind's oppression
Free me from my depression
If I must then I will wait
But hurry before it's too late
I've burdened myself with so much mental weight
Like a mountain left to eons of erosion I await my fate

"await your fate" words to live by. And very comforting to me. As to this poem that touches my heart.
