In my long dreams of my fathomed scenes, where eye catching creatures drift upon the light gusts of air, drifting in tandem with the

Broken, battered, Bloodied

vibrant green leaves. The city skyline of the worlds of my mind untainted by the smoke I am so used to in the day to day waking hours of the reality below. A walk through the city reveals

Eyes, unfocused, still alive, no soul stirring in the mind behind

children laughing and playing in the clean streets, watched over by caring parents and watchful siblings. The air carries a distant tune; a pleasant chiming and humming carries on the wind. This is my

Nightmare, the stench of rotting bodies cutting through the dust

utopia of sorts, a place to retreat in sleep, and in drifting daydreams. A shelter for my mind; and a place to keep me busy building, because left unchecked I am

Interrupted
