Kill
The happiness

Flow

Know the darkness as your life

Unfolds

Burning memoirs of my sadomasochist dream

The things I have seen

Dying embers of moments I soon won’t remember

My soul approaches the apex of its impending fall

The words upon the wall, I scrawled

~Distant dreams are within reach if you take the time~

Mean little to me as I don’t believe that line

Feel the wind through my hair as I plummet, scared

The thoughts of chaos and pain, reign
Upon my very existence lies a burden of immeasurable weight

In my strained smile a crack
 awakes

Piecing my very core

I feel my fall is almost over as I can’t take anymore

These final thoughts of a wasted pseudo-life

I wonder if I was ever me

Metaphysical Meanderings of a distant dream

Shattered by the inevitable end of a cut-short scream

Reading this poem with the music in the background was an experience that's hard to define. I almost felt like i was falling with you- or floating. Its an amazing thing- a mind. to travel in a dream, to feel as though you've experienced or wasted another life... to feel as though you died, in a dream... I'm not sure how literally you meant this, but either way, I truly enjoyed reading it, and I now have plenty to think about~ thank you!
