Evicted Faith.
By Lux
I screamed into the void,
broken and choking on the trust,
decrypting your secrets - only
this time, the void screamed back
darkness rising to throw me
from the only santuary I have left
and told me to run.
dawn approaches
and girls from the wayward winds
don't last long on seas unstable
the sickness wells deep enough
and you pitch over the side;
months of working, striving
earning the confidences
you share
only to awaken to another cage
with new locks
and no keys.

But then when I figured out that I asked for it and make contracts. I found the only thing hiding what was going to change a tragedy and turn it into a hero's journey. I just wasn't asking the right question.
