In the waiting
By Jonas Robinson
In the other room
With flowers which bloom
A ghost who cries, with teal-green eyes
Simple as the fresh smell of snow and mist
Is that you? As time is lost
within eternity, a mist of absence
A broken stone of tranquil freedom
The sunsetting burns deliquent frost
And in this ghost, are you asleep?
She cries and I know, very deep
inside, that I have lost, my ability to weep
For I know nothing but to sew and reep

Man Jonas! You are a beast of poet! And I mean that in the best possible way😀 I love the feel and detail of your poems. As one reads, it is like you are there experiencing it for yourself. You have a gift !

I've just discovered this and it is my favourite one by you. Darkly beautiful. I am entranced.

I always take the concept of being hypnotized by one of my poems as a compliment. Thank you. I thought this one was one of my best, too. :)

At first I got the impression that you were comparing a metaphor of a waiting room to finding love. Then it got personal, gj.
