...Bitter
By SolApathy
Far beyond the destiny of man
I place my hand
Upon the skulls of those I’ve broken free
Ending the existence of the meek and diseased
Finding no one worthy of my chemical bliss
The heroin of my lips delivers a fatal kiss
I’ll help you to touch the sky
Not even realizing you are about to die
Vanquish the shame of your worthless lie
Swearing this is the last time to inject a cry
Tears of cocaine leech form your parched eyes
I’ll help you to take a toke
As your soul becomes smoke
Cannibis clouds the sense of fear
As my whispers are near
Infecting you with the dire thoughts
Failures your life has wrought
One moment of clarity exposes the rot
My gift to your bankrupt mind
The bitter truth of nothing but wasted time
The loss of a once bright...Mind
I place my hand
Upon the skulls of those I’ve broken free
Ending the existence of the meek and diseased
Finding no one worthy of my chemical bliss
The heroin of my lips delivers a fatal kiss
I’ll help you to touch the sky
Not even realizing you are about to die
Vanquish the shame of your worthless lie
Swearing this is the last time to inject a cry
Tears of cocaine leech form your parched eyes
I’ll help you to take a toke
As your soul becomes smoke
Cannibis clouds the sense of fear
As my whispers are near
Infecting you with the dire thoughts
Failures your life has wrought
One moment of clarity exposes the rot
My gift to your bankrupt mind
The bitter truth of nothing but wasted time
The loss of a once bright...Mind

At least when the truth wounds, it does heel, even with time. Unfortunately, when a lie wounds, it never heels. I will take your veins and wrap them around me so no demons will ever haunt you, dearest. Rebs:).
