....Satan's Cage
By SolApathy
Vanquish the dreams of love’s rage
I built Satan’s cage
I am the wicked reflection in these eyes you gaze
I feel of the sorrow in which you churn
Drive the hate of which I yearn
Your eyes beckon for escape
Your soul—Agape
Feel the veracity in my siren’s song
My tendrils strengthen our dark bond
Malevolence you feel
Blistering your skin as you kneel
In despair of the trap in which you’ve been cast
Together we will burn blazingly fast
My smile---Vile
I consume memories which once made you smile
My fury of life-- never my own
Bile in which I bathe
Drips upon your withered soul as you rage
Smell of fear as you join Satan in this cage
Inhale the fear of one –Once everyone feared
I incinerate you both as fate draws near
Smiling in wicked decadence as I move beyond fear
I am the decadence beyond the darkness
Malice drawn from the universe’s core
Consuming the cosmos until there is nothing

Enjoyed thinking on "love's rage" here Sol; neat idea. Also the overview that results is one above the basic contrasting of good and evil. So the narrator is something more, and seemingly all powerful. The keeper of the keys perhaps. Cheers! - Dan
